This is my second Titan. I’ve owned the original since 2020 and when the 240sp went on presale I jumped on the deal.
I live totally off grid in north central WA and summer and winter can both be brutal here. To have enough power with a single unit to run two freezers, a fridge and electronics for 24+ hours is flat out amazing. Add to that the portability that makes wildfire season somewhat less threatening when I can toss my units into the truck vs leaving thousands in solar equipment to burn and you have a winning combination!
As always customer service is top notch, either via the chat app or the phone. Chase and Rainer are both fast and responsive.
My current set up is 1 original Titan with 3 NMC batteries and a 240sp with 2 Lifepo4s. I hope to add another lifepo4 for use with a mini split starting this summer. I’ll come back to update then!
I can’t recommend Point Zero and their products highly enough!

I haven’t set my unit up yet but one thing people may not realize is that with an external MPPT charger you can charge with up to 250 volts of solar and you can get two external MPPT chargers. Also the user service is excellent. I may write more later.

I loved the first Titan. Then they made one that will run my well pump. I am off grid and this set up is perfect! I highly recommend the Titan 240. I can run my camper and boon dock endlessly with solar panels.

I purchased the 240SP and a pair of LFP Batteries for short term House Back-Up power. (For longer duration outages, and higher power requirements, I have a Gas Generator.) The units all arrived double-boxed with no damage. After inter-connecting all the units, I connected the Power Module to 240VAC House Power for a full charge.
The initial test – I turned off all the House 240V Breakers, and left the remaining 120V Breakers ‘On’. When the 240SP was switched on-line, the House powered up without issue. Then came time for the Well Pump … the Pump turned on and filled the Bladder Tank with no problem. I then switched on the 240V circuit to the Stove-Top Elements. Success. (I didn’t care about testing the Oven itself, as that would be quite a drain on the LFP Batteries.) The 120V Kitchen Appliances (Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Maker, and Toaster Over) all worked without Issue. (I didn’t try them all at once, but rather individually, as would be SOP in an Emergency situation. Note: the Refrigerator was always powered on.) I didn’t test the AC/HVAC, or the Dryer, as I knew their Power Rating would exceed my two Batteries. The Hot Water Heater’s Element is rated at 5500 Watts. When I turned on its Breaker, the Alarm in the 240SP began to ‘beep’, indicating the Batteries were in the short term double-power (8kW) mode. After 10 seconds, the Power Module switched off, as it was designed to do. I switched off the Hot Water Heater, and turned the 240SP back on. All was well. Once I was done with all my circuit testing, I put the House back on ‘Line’ power, and began recharging the LFP Batteries. Full charge was reached in about 2.5 hours, with the Battery Meter showing about 40% prior to the recharge.
The Point Zero system did everything I wanted it to. Living in an all electric house, I wanted quick short-term power with the flick of a Switch, until ‘Line’ power was restored, or the Gas Generator could be put on-line. 1) Warming up a meal, 2 )Having some lights on in the House, 3) Monitoring essential and emergency communication sources, and 4) Being able to ‘Flush’ were all imperative operations driving my selection and purchase of the Point Zero System.
Thanks Seth,
